I have used Giovanni as my realtor since 2008. As a rule, I am not partial to people who sell real estate. I don't find Giovanni to be a typical real estate salesman. I enjoy being around him and I don't feel he is rushing me or adding unnecessary pressure to a deal. He was quite reassuring when I bought my first house and helped me keep a clear head and stay on budget. 
I asked Giovanni to help me sell that house in 2014 and we sold within 24 hours. He had done a pre-inspection of my house and gave me suggestions for increasing the attractiveness of my space. I followed his suggestions and sold very quickly for the amount I asked for. 
Giovanni then helped me to find my next house. Once I found a house I liked, Giovanni tried to conduct the appropriate negotiations with the seller's agent. He was very patient and professional with the seller's agent even though they really weren't responding to our offers and took days to get back with the seller's counter-offers. After enduring that for several days Giovanni suggested we give them our absolute final offer and prepare to move on to another property. They accepted that offer and apparently we were well below the going rate for that house. In the first week of owning that property a couple offered us 50K more for the house than we paid for it. They said that they could not seem to reach the seller's agent. I am thankful we had Giovanni. Clearly we had the correct agent and his persistence paid off.
I sold that house in August of 2018 and that was during a slight depression in the housing market. Giovanni really had to earn his money selling our house at that time. We had a lot of visitiations, open houses, inquiries etc. We finally received a solid offer but the buyer was low-balling like crazy. I had already determined a number that I would not go below. The buyer came in under that price. Giovanni negotiated with the other Agent and found the additional money to allow both of us to be happy with the deal. That deal closed successfully. When I purchase my next property I just assume immediately that I am using Giovanni. He is in my professional circle just like the Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Investment adviser, Real estate lawyer etc. Once you have a good realtor like Giovanni you just continue to use them even if you are a little out of his particular market. He is a smart guy and I know he can adapt.
